Chelsea Barlow, CPHR

Born and raised in Edmonton, Chelsea has a Certificate in Human Resources Management with Distinction from the University of Alberta and her Chartered Professional in Human Resources Designation. Much of Chelsea’s experience within Human Resources was in hospitality with some time spent in the manufacturing & distribution industry. With over 10 years of HR experience and 8 years prior to that in service related roles, she is passionate about exceeding her clients’ expectations. The move from Human Resources to group benefits has allowed her to provide value to her clients in understanding and maximizing group benefits from both an employee and employer perspective.

Daniel Kickham, MBA, CEBS

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dan has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with Distinction and a MBA from the University of Alberta. Prior to co-founding KB Benefits, Dan spent most of his career working for Royal Bank and CIBC.  He was a Branch Manager in Edmonton for Royal Bank and worked in various capacities for CIBC Commercial Banking in Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton.  With CIBC Dan worked in Mid-Market Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Risk Management and Commercial Banking both in customer facing and team leadership roles. Dan has served business and personal clients for almost two decades. He strives to build long term partnerships with the clients he serves.

Tanner Fermaniuk, BCOMM, GBA

Born and raised in Edmonton, Tanner has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from MacEwan University.  He is a former MacEwan Male Athlete of the Year and Golf Professional where he spent a decade working at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club.  After his time in the golf industry, he spent several years in the Commercial Insurance space as an Account Executive; specializing in Manufacturing, Tech and Construction.  When he’s not working, you can bet he will be doing a number of activities; golf, hockey and slo-pitch to name a few.  Tanner joined KB as a Partner in 2022.  He is very relationship oriented with a keen eye for detail and takes pride in treating every client like they are family.
